News Release from Lake Oswego Fire Dept.
Posted on FlashAlert: February 10th, 2014 8:01 PM
One home was evacuated out of precaution on Meadows Dr in Lake Oswego this evening. A home owner on Upper Cherry Lane called emergency responders when he noticed a black hole in the side of the hill. Upon further investigation he discovered that a fair amount if mud and debris had slid down the hill. The home below had mud and debris just up against the house and in the backyard. That home owner is staying with neighbors until the situation can be evaluated during the day.
The slide occurred after a leak from a water line going from the meter on the street to the house at 17471 Upper Cherry Lane.
