UPDATE: SERIOUS INJURY VEHICLE COLLISION

UPDATE: 12/13/2013
The vehicle driver has died of injuries sustained in this crash.
The passenger remains hospitalized but is expected to survive.
DRIVER: BAIRD, Noah Dean DOB 03/28/1995 of Amboy, Wa.
PASSENGER: 17 YOA female of Yacolt, Wa.
Vehicle: Red 1996 Subaru Legacy
At this time operator impairment or excessive speed DO NOT appear to be causing factors. The collision remains under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff's Office Traffic unit. Family notification have been made. Nothing further to report at this time.
On 12.12.13 at 1936 hours Clark County Deputies responded to the 27700 block of NE Lucia Falls Rd for a one vehicle involved collision.
Deputies and EMS arrived and located the vehicle off the roadway which had impacted a power pole.
The male driver and female passenger were removed from the vehicle by EMS personnel and transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
It is unknown at this time if speed or alcohol are contributing factors in this collision.
The Clark County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit is investigating.
