CITY EVENT TO PREVENT GRAFFITI SCHEDULED

GRESHAM, Ore. - Gresham's second annual Graffiti Summit for residents and businesses can learn the basic facts about graffiti what it means, to how to prevent it and how to get rid of it. The event is from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Gresham City Hall, Council Chambers, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway.
"Residents and businesses play a large role in graffiti prevention," said Cathy Harrington, director of the Office of Neighborhoods and Community Engagement. The City has tools to assist the community prevent and remove graffiti."
Presenters include representatives from the Gresham Police Department and Code Compliance. Speakers will discuss how to report and remove graffiti and present practical removal methods tips and steps to take around homes and businesses to make graffiti less likely to happen.
