VEHICLE SMASHES INTO HOUSE-DRIVER ARRESTED

On March 1, 2013 at just after 500 in the morning 911 received a call from the residence at 9800 NW 26th Crt. reporting that a car had just crashed into their house. Additional information indicated that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
Deputies arrived in the area and were able to locate the driver about 5 blocks away. After the initial investigation he was taken into custody and lodged at the Clark County Sheriff's Department on the below charges.
There were people home at the time. Rescue personnel check out a baby who did not require transport or medical treatment.
Alcohol appears to be a factor in this case.

William Porter a 19 year old Vancouver resident.
The Vehicle:
2002 Mitz Galant
The charges:
Driving under the influence of intoxicants and or drugs.
Minor in possession of alcohol.
