Washington County 9-1-1: Frontier Communications has advised us that there is a telephone outage in the 800blk of NW 10th Ave, Hillsboro. Reports indicate that there are 32 homes in the area that are without landline phone service; this is only affecting FiOS customers. The cause is unknown and they have technicians working on the issue. The estimated time of repair is 5:00 p.m. tomorrow. Residents affected by this outage that are without landline phone service should use a cellular phone to call 9-1-1, or go to the Hillsboro Fire station located at 240 S. 1st Ave. Washington County 9-1-1 has no further information on the outage. At this time we are not aware of any citizen that has been affected by this outage.
