Washington County 9-1-1: This is an update to the press release issued last night on a 9-1-1 outage. (original press release below)
This afternoon we contated Frontier Communications and they advised us that sometime today the outage was resolved. We have no further information on this.
Original Release
Frontier Communications has advised us that there is a telephone outage in the 800blk of NW 10th Ave, Hillsboro. Reports indicate that there are 32 homes in the area that are without landline phone service; this is only affecting FiOS customers. The cause is unknown and they have technicians working on the issue. The estimated time of repair is 5:00 p.m. tomorrow. Residents affected by this outage that are without landline phone service should use a cellular phone to call 9-1-1, or go to the Hillsboro Fire station located at 240 S. 1st Ave. Washington County 9-1-1 has no further information on the outage. At this time we are not aware of any citizen that has been affected by this outage.
