On February 25, 2013 at approximately 2:30 pm, deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and police officers from the Lake Oswego Police Department responded to a residence on the 13200 block of Sw 63rd Ave in Portland, OR for the report of a burglary that had just occurred.

The witness who was identified as Juliann Peterson, age 19 of Portland, watched the incident from a nearby house.

Peterson knew the person did not belong there because she lives at the victim's residence. She watched the suspect walk up and wait at the front door of the house before he entered the home. A short while later the suspect exited the residence.

Peterson went outside and yelled at the suspect who turned to look at her and then ran away southbound from the location with items he had stolen from the residence.

Peterson called 911 at that point to report the crime.

The following day, Peterson met with a forensic artist who works for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office to complete a composite sketch of the suspect.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid 30's, 5'7' -5'8" tall with a stocky build. He was further described as having a round fat face with wrinkles in the cheeks and neck area. At the time of the burglary the suspect was wearing a black beanie, black coat, black pants, black gloves and was carrying a black backpack.
