Mayor Denny Doyle will reflect upon his first term and outline his vision for 2013 and beyond during his annual State of the City address on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Arts and Communication Magnet Academy (ACMA) Performing Arts Center (11375 SW Center Street).

This year's address will highlight the Mayor's first term, including the passage of urban renewal, the Beaverton Community Vision effort, and city milestones. He will also highlight the successful collaborations between community members and partners as well as name new priorities such as the Comprehensive Plan, a public safety facility and the city's ongoing commitment to maintain its infrastructure.

"Our city has accomplished so much," said Mayor Doyle. "This year will mark some important milestones for the city of Beaverton. As always, our community members and partners have been the cornerstone to our success and will continue to guide us towards a vibrant future."

This year's event will feature introductory remarks by Mark Ganz, president and CEO of Cambia Health Solutions as well as a special video presentation, highlighting Beaverton's Community Vision partners.

During the event, the city will collect food donations to benefit Beaverton-area families in need. This event is open to the public, but seating is limited.
