Interested non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations who provide social services to Beaverton residents are encouraged to apply for grants through the city of Beaverton social service funding application process. The submission deadline is Friday, Feb. 8 at 4 p.m.

Agencies desiring funds are encouraged to apply by downloading an application from the city's website at www.BeavertonOregon.gov/SocialServices.
Funding for this program is provided by state revenue sharing and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) dollars. Money for grants are contingent upon the passage of the city's 2013-14 budget in May 2013. Last year, the city had approximately $377,000 available for grants, but the 2013-14 budget has not been determined.
Last year, organizations that received grants included the Sunshine Pantry, Community Action Organization, Community Partners for Affordable Housing, HomePlate Youth Services, Boys & Girls Aid and Westside Service Center among several others.
