Vancouver Police Investigate Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

VANCOUVER POLICE INVESTIGATE PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE

On December 5, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to the intersection of E Fourth Plain Blvd. and Z Street for a call involving a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived they located a 69 year old male with life threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. There is no indication that drugs or alcohol were a factor.

The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is conducting the investigation. At this time the names of the victim and the driver are not being released. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
