At 7:43pm, Washington County Deputies responded to St. Vincent Hospital on a missing person. 51-year-old John Knorr of Tigard was taken to the hospital by his mother. Somewhere between the parking garage and the emergency room, he went missing.
Mr. Knorr has recently experienced a stroke. Tonight, he was behaving unusual and his mother drove him to the hospital. Once at the hospital they both walked to the ER from the parking garage. Mr. Knorr became separated from his mother and she was unable to locate him in the garage. Washington County Deputies and hospital security did a search of the area, but Mr. Knorr was not located.
This is the first time this has happened to Mr. Knorr. His family is concerned that his medical condition has contributed to his disappearance. It is also possible he is not able to speak. Additionally, Mr. Knorr is not dressed to be out in the elements overnight. The family believes he might try to walk or take Tri-Met home to Tigard.
He is 6' 170lbs, with gray hair, and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans and sandals.
The Sheriff's Office is seeking the publics help in locating Mr. Knorr. If anyone comes in contact with Mr. Knorr, they are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111.
