ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: ADVISORY:
Motorists heading to and from the North Coast this morning should check TripCheck before heading out. High standing water south of Seaside on U.S. 101 is restricting vehicles to trucks and other high profile vehicles. Motorists trying to get to Seaside and Astoria are advised to use U.S. 30. Also, OR 6 (Wilson River Highway) is closed near Glenwood (milepost 21) after two tractor trailers jack knifed. Equipment is on its way to help clear the road but the road could be closed indefinitely. Consider an alternative route to the Coast. Landslides are also slowing traffic in other areas along U.S. 101, including at milepost 88 south of Tillamook.
Motorists should be prepared for landslides, debris on the road, falling trees and high standing water. Know Before You Go by checking TripCheck for the latest road conditions. Drive with caution and expect delays. UPDATE
