MILWAUKIE POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEATH - UPDATE

Milwaukie Police have updated information on the death investigation being conducted in the 2800 block of SE Monroe Street in Milwaukie. Police responded at noon today to a dispatched welfare check. Police discovered one adult female (age in her 60s) deceased inside the residence. The incident is being investigated as a suspicious death. The investigation is continuing. The name of the deceased is being withheld until family notifications have been made.
The Clackamas County Medical Examiner's Office is assisting with the investigation. The Clackamas County Major Crimes Team is also assisting.
