Update
On December 11, 2012, a Washington County Grand Jury charged Michelle Young with Second Degree Manslaughter for the September 11, 2012 death of Maxwell McGregor, 17, of Aloha.
On the morning of the crash, Ms. Young went to the hospital by ambulance to obtain treatment for a seizure. The treating physician made it very clear to Ms. Young not to drive because she could suffer another seizure. Ms. Young took a cab from the hospital to where her vehicle was parked. She disregarded the physician's discharge orders and drove her vehicle within a few hours after leaving the hospital. It is believed Ms. Young suffered another seizure, while driving, which contributed to the crash that killed Mr. McGregor.
On December 12, 2012, the District Attorney issued a warrant for Ms. Young's arrest. Washington County Sheriff's Deputies took the warrant and immediately arrested Ms. Young. She is lodged in the Washington County Jail held on $250,000 bail.
