One person received non-life threatening injuries Friday afternoon when his vehicle was involved in a collision as it pulled out from a business driveway onto Highway 99E south of Oregon City. Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation.

According to Trooper Tracy Clark, on December 14, 2012 at approximately 2:52 p.m., a 2009 Kia Rio four door driven by ALEXANDER MARTUSHEV, age 69, from Gervais, was attempting to turn left from a business driveway into the southbound lane of Highway 99E near milepost 14. As the Kia was moving across the northbound lane it was struck in the driver's side by a northbound 1994 Chevrolet Astro van driven by GLORIA MARCELINO MANUEL, age 36, from Vancouver, Washington.

MARTUSHEV was transported by LifeFlight to Oregon Health & Science University for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

MARCELINO MANUEL and an adult male passenger were not injured.

All occupants were using safety restraints.

OSP troopers were assisted at the scene by Canby Fire Department, Oregon City Police Department, and AMR ambulance.

The highway was briefly closed for LifeFlight transport.
