INJURY MOTORCYCLE CRASH - HIGHWAY 211 SOUTH OF ESTACADA

Two people received non-life threatening injuries Thursday morning after losing control of a motorcycle they were riding and crashing on Highway 211 about one mile south of Estacada.
According to Trooper Travis Neubauer, on December 27, 2012 at approximately 11:44 a.m., a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by TIMOTHY P. BOYETTE, age 33, from Estacada, was traveling southbound on Highway 211 following another motorcycle when it slowed to turn into a driveway. BOYETTE tried to slow down, veered left and lost control on the wet pavement.
BOYETTE and his passenger, SHANNON L. BILLINGS, age 38, from Estacada, were ejected over the handlebars as the motorcycle slid across the northbound lane. Both were transported by AMR ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University for treatment of injuries. They were wearing protective helmets.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Estacada Rural Fire Protection District #69, and ODOT. No citations issued.
