Gresham Police investigate Gang related shooting
Gresham, Ore. - On December 1, 2012 at 2:27 p.m., Gresham Police were called to the report of multiple shots fired in the area of NE 188th Ave and NE Couch Ln.
According to witnesses, gunfire was exchanged between an unknown black male driving a light blue 1990 Buick LeSabre with Oregon license plate UHG053 and at least two unknown black male pedestrians. It is unclear who fired first. All of the subjects had fled the scene prior to Police arrival. A firearm belonging to one of the pedestrians was located at the scene. The firearm used by the driver is still outstanding.
Any occupants of the listed vehicle should be considered armed and dangerous. Please do not approach and call 911 if seen. The vehicle is similar to the stock photo shown.
The East Metro Gang Enforcement Team is investigating. Anybody with any information is asked to call the Gresham Police tip line at 503.618.2719. Information can be left anonymously.
