Suspect arrested in drug case

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DRUG CASE

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL INCIDENT

On 11-9-12, at about 1530 hrs, detectives from the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force located the homeowner involved in the earlier search warrant described below. Timothy Hyclak, 30, who is the owner of the home at 5305 NE 48th Ave, was contacted by detectives shortly after he left his home. He was taken into custody without incident. Hyclak, who is believed to have been trafficking controlled substances from his home, was not present when the search warrant was executed in the early morning hours on 11-8-12.

Hyclak was booked at the Clark County Jail on charges of possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a drug house.


ORIGINAL INCIDENT

On 11-8-12, the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 5305 NE 48th Ave based on evidence of drug trafficking at the home. The Southwest Washington Regional SWAT Team served the warrant at about
0530 hrs and located 8 people in the home. Two people were found to have outstanding warrants for their arrest and were booked at the Clark County Jail. A small amount of drugs and drug paraphernalia was located in the home. The case remains under investigation and further arrests may be made.
