Sherwood High School Teacher Investigated for Misconduct

SHERWOOD HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER INVESTIGATED FOR MISCONDUCT

November 30, 2012--Washington County Detectives are investigating a school teacher for allegations of inappropriate conduct.

Washington County Sheriff's Detectives received information from the Department of Human Services (DHS) that there was possible misconduct between a Sherwood High School teacher and a student. Detectives were told that Denise Keesee, 38, from Sherwood was a teacher at the school and allegedly had engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with at least one male student.

The Sherwood School District has placed Ms. Keesee on administrative leave during the investigation.

Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims. Detectives are asking parents to talk to their children about anything that was out of the ordinary, suspicious or inappropriate involving Ms. Keesee and report it to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.
