WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m., doors open at 1 p.m.

WHERE: Bethel Congregation United Church of Christ, 5150 SW Watson Street

WHAT: In honor of Veterans Day, the public is invited to a special ceremony hosted by Beaverton American Legion Post #124 featuring patriotic music and speeches by local officials, including Mayor Denny Doyle.

WHY: To honor the sacrifices that were made, and express gratitude and appreciation to those who continue to serve our country today.
