Marijuana, Stun Gun, and Handgun Seized in West Linn Search

MARIJUANA, STUN GUN, AND HANDGUN SEIZED IN WEST LINN SEARCH

West Linn - After an investigation begun in October, members of the West Linn Police Department, a served search warrant at an address in the 4300 block of Exeter Street in West Linn on November 5, at 6:30 pm. This is an address in the area of Sunset Elementary School and Sunset Park. Officers found the residence occupied by four juveniles and 22-year-old West Linn woman. Seized was a small quantity of marijuana packaged for distribution, scales, packaging materials, and other items for drug sales, a stun gun, and a semi automatic pistol.
A 17-year-old juvenile male, the subject of the investigation, was lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Home in Portland on charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The juvenile told officers he had traded drugs for the gun in Portland.
Detective Sergeant Kirk Tonkin said that this arrest is a good reminder to the public that these issues exist in West Linn, and that parents and citizens should remain ever vigilant in watching for suspicious behavior.
