On October 31, 2012, at about 2:00 p.m., a gold 2001 Chevrolet Malibu, bearing Oregon license plate 567ETJ, crashed into the rear end of a car at the intersection of Hwy 224 and SE Johnson Road, The victim car was driven by Ciprian Gusetu, age 35, of Milwaukie,. The victim's wife, Corina Gusetu, age 27, who is 8 months pregnant, was a passenger in the car.
The driver of the suspect car has been identified as Jahi Rashid McKinney Brown, age 22, with a last known address in SE Portland. He is 69" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, has a bushy afro haircut and wears large diamond type earrings.
Mr. McKinney Brown stopped after the crash, picked up his license plate that had broken off during the crash, got back into his car, and drove into oncoming traffic westbound and then onto SE Johnson Road. The victim and an eyewitness followed him when he sped off.
Mr. McKinney Brown attempted to hide his car between other parked cars in a parking lot at 14000 SE Johnson Road. The eyewitness parked next to him, and the victim pulled his car behind him, in an attempt to exchange insurance information. Mr. Gusetu was able to take a photograph of the suspect and his car with his cell phone.
The suspect then got back into his car, and intentionally drove into the victim's car, then drove over a curb and through landscaping. He fled in an unknown direction before deputies were able to get there.
There were no injuries to the Gusetu's during either of the crashes, however their car did sustain damage both times.
The suspects' car should have minor to moderate damage to the front bumper.
The deputy investigating the case reports the charges possible once he locates Jahi Rashid McKinney Brown are Hit and Run, Reckless Endangering, Reckless Driving, and Criminal Mischief. The deputy has unsuccessfully attempted to locate the suspect for a statement, and is now turning to the public for assistance.
