Beaverton City Library Closed for Veterans Day on Sunday, November 11

BEAVERTON CITY LIBRARY CLOSED FOR VETERANS DAY ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11

- Library will be open on Monday, November 12 -

The Beaverton City Library, including the Murray Scholls Branch, will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day and reopen on Monday, Nov. 12. Beaverton City Hall and city Operations Center will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, along with many other government and financial institutions, in observance of Veterans Day.

Even though library services will be closed, the Beaverton City Library (12375 SW 5th Street) will remain open for those attending the Reser's Fine Foods' 30th Annual Visual Arts Showcase art exhibit and sale in meeting rooms A and B. Those interested in attending should go to the library's main entrance where city officials will grant access to the exhibit.

In honor of Veterans Day, the public is invited to a special ceremony hosted by Beaverton American Legion Post #124 on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. in the Bethel Congregation United Church of Christ (5150 SW Watson Street) featuring patriotic music and speeches by local officials.
