Detectives with the Clark County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit have arrested two suspects in the death of Matthew Clark. Kirk Hernandez and Darrel "Chris" Fry were taken into custody and booked into Clark County Jail on charges of first degree Homicide and first degree Burglary late on 10/12/2012. Both Hernandez and Fry also had unrelated arrest warrants too.

Their first arraignment is expected Monday, October 15th, 2012. No further details of this investigation will be released at this time. All persons of interest or suspects in this investigation have been identified and contacted.

Vancouver, Wa.

The deceased has been identified at Matthew Clark of Vancouver Wa. Proximate cause of death is an apparent gun shot wound. Cause of death will be determined by the Clark County Medical Examiner. Family notifications have been made.

The Clark County Regional Major Crimes Unit continues to actively investigate this death as a homicide Investigation.

About 0630 this date, 10/01/2012 911 received a report of a shooting incident at a residence, 9610 NE 25th Ave. in Hazel Dell. Responding patrol deputies discovered the remains of a deceased individual inside the residence.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are now on scene and in the initial phases of this investigation. No suspects are in custody at this time. No details on the deceased are being released at this time.
