UPDATE #4: OFFICERS NAMES RELEASED - INVESTIGATION OF SEPTEMBER 28TH WOODBURN POLICE DEPARTMENT OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING

The interagency Marion County Homicide Assault Response Team (HART) investigation is continuing into Friday night's officer-involved shooting by Woodburn police officers that injured a 20-year old man in Woodburn. The officers names are released in this update. Any more information related to the investigation will be released through the Marion County District Attorney's Office.
The officers are identified as:
* Sergeant Andron Shadrin, age 31, who has 8 years of law enforcement experience and has worked for Woodburn Police Department for six years.
* Corporal Shawn Hershberger, age 32, who has 6 years of law enforcement experience and has worked for Woodburn Police Department for six years.
* Officer Thomas Courson, age 38, who has 5 years of law enforcement experience and has worked for Woodburn Police Department for five years.
According to Chief Scott Russell, the three officers remain on paid administrative leave, a standard procedure during this type of an investigation.
HART team investigators involved in the investigation are from Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigation Division, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Keizer Police Department, Hubbard Police Department, Woodburn Police Department, and Salem Police Department. Marion County District Attorney's Office is assisting investigators. OSP is designated as the lead investigating agency.
