CCSO: THREE TEENAGERS ARRESTED FOR STRING OF BOTTLE BOMBS IN WILSONVILLE.

After an extensive investigation by the Wilsonville Police Department, three teenagers have been arrested for a string of "bottle bombs" that have left residents on edge. The bombs were found in Wilsonville's Memorial Park throughout the last week.
Acting on Tips as well as some evidence found at the scene, Officers from the Wilsonville Police Department identified three 15 year old boys, all residents of the City of Wilsonville as the suspects. Subsequent interviews with the boys led to them each admitting to taking part in the incidents.
The city of Wilsonville put out alert notices to residents to encourage them not to touch the "bombs." No one was injured by these devices but there has been some property damage.
At this time the City of Wilsonville and the Wilsonville Police Department is confident that there are no more "bottle bombs" still at large from this incident. They do however, encourage everyone to be aware of their surroundings and alert the Police if any further suspicious items are found.
Names are not being release at this time as the investigation is still ongoing. The exact charges are still pending while the dollar amount of the damage is totaled. If the damage exceeds $1000, the teens could face charges of Criminal Mischief I which is a Class C Felony, punishable by 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Once the investigation is complete, the case will be handed over to the Clackamas County Juvenile Department for prosecution.
