Update: ODF says fire is contained after burning 3 to 4 acres.
The Gaston Rural Fire Department has dispatched a water tender and several firefighters to assist the Oregon Department of Forestry at a wildland fire in remote territory about 20 miles west of Henry Hagg Lake.
Although the fire was originally dispatched to Gaston Fire, it actually is many miles outside of the Gaston district and Gaston does not have a PIO on scene.
