TRUCK SAFETY ENFORCEMENT EMPHASIS SCHEDULED

The Clark County Sheriff's Office, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit will be joining regional Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officers from Washington State Patrol, La Center Police Department, Ridgefield Police Department and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to conduct a trucking safety enforcement emphasis on September 20th, 2012 0730-1600 Hrs.
The multi-agency emphasis will take place at the I-5 N/B Ridgefield Port of Entry and will focus on equipment and safety violations on commercial vehicles.
Media is welcome and encouraged to attend and cover the emphasis activities at the POE scales. We are requesting that NO PUBLIC NOTICE of this safety emphasis is given prior to tomorrow morning.
