EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS EXPO SET FOR SATURDAY IN SILVERTON

The Emergency Managers and First Responders of the Silverton and Mt. Angel area are proud to be hosting the Second Annual Emergency Preparedness Expo. This event will be held this Saturday September 22 from 10:00am until 2:00pm. The expo will be held in the lot between Roth's Fresh Market and Seven Brides Brewing on North First St. in Silverton.
Several different agencies will be in attendance and showing their equipment and providing demonstrations to the public. Silverton Fire, Silverton Police, Mt. Angel Fire, the Marion County Sheriff's Office, Mountain Wave Search and Rescue, Marion County Emergency Management, Oregon Emergency Management, Mt. Angel CERT, Silverton CERT, the Oregon State Defense Force, and more will all be here.
Life Flight will be making a special appearance and apparatus tours, demonstrations on utility isolation and fire suppression, Citizen Alert sign-ups, hospital demonstrations, Woodburn Ambulance demonstrations and much more will be taking place.
