BEAVERTON'S VOSE NAC HOSTS ANNUAL PICNIC AT WONDERLAND PARK ON AUGUST 25

The Vose Neighborhood Association Committee (NAC) is hosting its annual neighborhood picnic on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Wonderland Park (6400 SW King Blvd). This year's event features food and family-friendly games.
"This is a great community event to celebrate neighborhood camaraderie and delight in the joys of summer picnics," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "NACs are a great resource for residents to discuss issues, improve their neighborhoods and develop a tighter-knit community."

The Vose Neighborhood Association Committee (NAC) is one of eleven NACs formally recognized by the city of Beaverton to increase citizen involvement and help strengthen the community. The Vose NAC meets on the third Thursday of the month at the Beaverton Community Center (12350 SW 5th Street). The next meeting is on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. Vose residents are encouraged to come share ideas, discuss neighborhood issues and engage in neighborhood problem solving.
