OREGON RED CROSS RESPONDS TO TWO FIRES IN ASTORIA

Disaster Action Team volunteers of the American Red Cross responded to a two single-family house fires in Clatsop County this morning. The first incident, at 7:10 a.m., affected a home on West Marine Dr. in Astoria, displacing 2-adults, 3-children and 8-pets. Red Cross provided humanitarian assistance of food, clothing, comfort kits and information about Health and Mental Health services.
The volunteers were then called to respond to a single-family house fire on Hwy 101 in Astoria which displaced 2-adults and 3-pets. Red Cross provided assistance of food, clothing and comfort kits to the people affected by this fire.
