CCSO DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING A HOMICIDE IN MILWAUKIE, OR

On Sunday July 8, 2012 at approximately 3:30 pm, deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office responded to an apartment at the 4400 block of SE Roethe Road in Milwaukie, Oregon. A female called 911 to report suspicious circumstances at her adult daughter's residence.
When deputies arrived at the location they found the adult daughter deceased inside. Based on the circumstances deputies discovered at the location, detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene along with a deputy medical examiner to investigate.
Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Detectives in cooperation with the Oregon State Police Forensic Laboratory and the Clackamas County Interagency Major Crimes Team are currently investigating this incident as a homicide.
The victim female has been identified as Michelle Leigh Walker, 41 years old, of Milwaukie. An autopsy was performed by the State Medical Examiners Office and is being investigated as a homicide.
Tips are sought from persons who may have seen Michelle Leigh Walker on Saturday, July 7th or Sunday, July 8th. Also tips regarding persons or suspicious activity seen near her apartment at 4486 SE Roethe Rd in Milwaukie.
