GRESHAM, Ore. - Road crews will be applying a chip seal pavement maintenance on three busy Gresham arterials the week of July 30-Aug. 3. While the roads will not be closed, delays are expected during the working hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while flaggers and pilot cars direct traffic in the work zone. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
Gresham road sections receiving maintenance:
*(Monday, July 30) Southeast Hogan Road from E. Powell Boulevard south to Southeast Ruggs Road at the Clackamas County border.
*(Tuesday, July 31) Southeast Powell Valley Road from Southeast Kane Drive/257th east to Southeast 282nd Avenue.
*(Tuesday, July 31) Northeast Division Street from Northeast Kane Drive/257th east to the city limits border.
Drivers should drive slowly to avoid kicking up loose gravel. These arterial sections are scheduled to receive a finishing sealant application Aug. 1; temporary traffic delays expected.
For daily updates on Gresham road work call the City's Maintenance Hot Line at 503-618-2888. For information about chip seal work or summer road work visit GreshamOregon.gov/SummerRoadWork.
