UPDATE: SERIOUS INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH - HIGHWAY 211 / CANBY-MARQUAM HIGHWAY

One person was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 211 and Canby-Marquam Highway west of Molalla. Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation and the names are released in this update. The hospital advised the Toyota's driver received non-life threatening injuries.
On June 6, 2012 at approximately 3:40 p.m. a Toyota 4Runner sport utility vehicle driven by DALIA LOPEZ, age 51, from Woodburn, was westbound on Highway 211. A Ford Ranger pickup pulled into its path from Canby-Marquam Highway while attempting to cross southbound and both vehicles collided.
LOPEZ was transported by LifeFlight to Oregon Health & Sciences University with what was believed to be serious injuries. Hospital staff advised her injuries are not life threatening.
The pickup's driver, MEGAQN GEX, age 24, from Hubbard, received minor injury but was not transported for treatment.
Safety restraint use is pending confirmation.
Senior Trooper Jeff Leighty is the lead investigator. OSP was assisted at the scene by Molalla Police Department, Molalla Fire Department, and Monitor Rural Fire District. The highway was partially blocked during the incident response and investigation.
