Hatchet Wielding Man Strikes and Injures Brother During a Family Disturbance
On June 3, 2012, at about 4:03 p.m. Milwaukie Police were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance call at 8726 SE 42nd Avenue in Milwaukie. The caller to 9-1-1 reported a fight between adult brothers. The incident resulted in 58-year-old Don Fred Stoll (DOB 10-07-54) attacking and injuring 60-year-old Russell Stoll with a hatchet. Russell sustained non-life-threatening injuries to his right arm requiring medical treatment at Providence Milwaukie Hospital.
Don Fred Stoll was arrested and lodged at the Clackamas County Jail on charges of Assault II and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
