GRESHAM RESIDENT ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH ARMED ROBBERY AND IS SUSPECTED IN SEVERAL OTHER ROBBERIES
On June 27, 2012 at 1:19p.m., Gresham Resident, Troy Lynn Jacobs, was arrested after robbing Walgreens at gunpoint. At 12:37p.m., Troy Jacobs walked into Walgreens, contacted an employee, showed the employee a gun in his waistband and demanded money. The employee complied.
Troy was observed by Multnomah County Sheriff's Detective Shanks running with Walgreens employees following. Detective Shanks called for additional units. K9 later located Troy hiding in a wooded area west of Walgreens.
Troy Jacobs is also suspected to have robbed three other locations at gunpoint.
