Three adults were rescued from the Clackamas River late this afternoon after there inflatable raft capsized. The victims were able to call 911 with there cell phone and help direct rescuers to there location. The victims reported that they were thrown into the water after the raft became caught in rapids and overturned. All of the victims were wearing life jackets and were able to swim to a island and exit the river. The three victims were located by Boring Fire crews and were then rescued by a Clackamas Fire Swift Water Rescue Team. All three victims were transported by boat to Barton Park for evaluation and treatment. One subject was transported by Ambulance for further evaluation. Boring Fire, Clackamas Fire, TVF&R, Lake Oswego Fire and American Medical Response all responded to the call. Rescuers want to remind everyone that the Rivers are still running cold, high, and rapid. Remember to always wear a life jacket when near the water.
