ODOT: ODOT bridge crews will have to lift the SOUTHBOUND I-5 bridge lift span over the Columbia River (Portland)to repair a malfunctioning mechanism tonight (Saturday) at 8:00 PM. Motorists should expect a delay of 30-60 minutes. NORTHBOUND traffic is NOT affected. There is NO established detour. ODOT asks motorists to plan ahead or select alternate routes to avoid delay. Test lifts will occur later tonight with similar delay.
