Oregon City Police Department Employee Recognized at Annual Awards Banquet

OREGON CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE RECOGNIZED AT ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET

The Oregon City Police Department holds an annual awards banquet every year to honor their officers and employees for exceptional performance. The banquet was held at the Ainsworth House in Oregon City on Saturday April 21, 2012. Chief Mike Conrad provided a catered dinner by Buster's for employees and spouses. During the meal Chief Conrad presented awards for Reserve Officer of the Year, Employee of the Year, Distinguished Service Award, Chiefs Medal of Merit, Officer of the Year and Lifesaving Award. Chief Conrad praised all of his employees for their commitment and a job well done for the year 2011. The following employees received the above mentioned awards:
Officer of the Year: Greg Fryett, Sergeant
Employee of the Year: Brian Hutteball, Community Service Officer
Reserve Officer of the Year: Jason Thompson
Distinguished Service Medal: Bob Downing, Officer assigned to Trimet
Distinguished Service Medal: Bill Garland, Officer
Chiefs Medal of Merit: Jim Band, Lieutenant
Chiefs Medal of Merit: Pat Lynch, Sergeant
Life Saving Award: Dave Plummer, Officer
Life Saving Award: Dan Hanes, Officer
Community Service Award: Jake Hemphill
Community Service Award: Andrea Schmierbach, Buds Towing
