VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT FOR THE CENTRAL BEAVERTON URBAN RENEWAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Are you interested in volunteering your time and experience to your community? Are you willing to provide input on critical issues affecting downtown, or helping make Beaverton a vibrant, active and welcoming city? If so, Beaverton needs you!
The deadline for Beaverton residents, business leaders, housing non-profits, members of the development community, financial experts and community leaders to apply to serve on the Central Beaverton Urban Renewal Advisory Committee has been extended until Thursday, March 15 at 4:30 p.m.
"The Central Beaverton Urban Renewal Advisory Committee is a great way to get involved on some of the critical issues affecting downtown," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "The Beaverton Community Vision sets a 'vibrant downtown' as a high priority, and with your help we can make it happen."
The Committee will require a commitment of just a few hours each month for at least a year. Initial membership will be divided between one year and three year appointments--followed by three year terms thereafter (if reappointed).
