UPDATE #2: DRIVER CITED RELATED TO CRITICAL INJURY PEDESTRIAN-INVOLVED CRASH - HIGHWAY 224 AT 82ND DRIVE IN CLACKAMAS

Oregon State Police (OSP) investigation into last Friday's serious injury pedestrian-involved crash at the intersection of Highway 224 and 82nd Drive in Clackamas resulted in the offending driver being cited by OSP. The injured 82-year old pedestrian is stll in intensive care at Oregon Health & Science University.
On March 2, 2012 at approximately 11:26 a.m., GRACE HARRIET REITENBAUGH, age 82, from Clackamas, was crossing Highway 224 southbound in a crosswalk from the northwest corner to the southwest corner. The elderly woman was struck by a 1996 Dodge Stratus four-door making a right turn from 82nd Drive to Highway 224.
REITENBAUGH was transported by AMR ambulance to Oregon Health & Science University.
The car's driver, PAULA J. BERGERON, age 45, from Clackamas, was not injured. She was cited by OSP for Failure to Stop for a Pedestrian.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Clackamas County Sheriffs Office and Clackamas Fire District #1.
