PRELIMINARY INFORMATION - INJURY TRAFFIC CRASH - HIGHWAY 211 SOUTH OF SANDY

Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into cause and manner of Monday afternoon's two vehicle injury crash on Highway 211 south of Sandy that resulted in injuries to two adults and one child. The three vehicle occupants were transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and the highway was opened about 3:00 p.m. No names for release until later today.

Preliminary information indicates on March 5, 2012 at approximately 1:40 p.m. a 2008 Mazda four-door driven by an adult female and a 1992 Toyota van driven by an adult male with a child passenger were involved in a collision on Highway 211 near SE Martin Road. The three vehicle occupants were extricated by Sandy Fire District 72 firefighters and transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. Their names and conditions are not available.

OSP is continuing the investigation. No photographs available for release at this time.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and ODOT also assisted at the scene.
