PRELIMINARY INFORMATION - FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH - HIGHWAY 6 WEST OF BANKS

Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are investigating a traffic crash on Highway 6 about one mile east of Glenwood near milepost 40 that has resulted in the death of one person. This was earlier reported as an injury crash but the victim died after leaving the scene for a hospital.
The crash reportedly involves a commercial truck and passenger vehicle. The highway is still blocked. Traffic updates posted on www.TripCheck.com.
No more information to be released until scene investigation completed.
