Gresham, Ore. – The City is participating in the State Department's Passport Day in the USA on Saturday, March 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Gresham City Hall Council Chambers located at 1333 NW Eastman Parkway.

"Passport Day is a great opportunity for us to provide this service on a day when many families can get their passports processed together," said Communications Director Laura Shepard. "We hope that this event will help people know they can get their passports processed close to home."

Passports are regularly accepted from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday in City Hall at 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway.

The City has accepted passport applications since 1997. In an August 2011 compliance audit conducted by a Federal oversight team, Gresham's passport processing was deemed "exceptional," and a model facility, with agents who "displayed an excellent understanding of the passport acceptance procedures."
