SWAT call ends peacefully

SWAT CALL ENDS PEACEFULLY

On 11/20/2011, at approximately 0430 hours, officers responded to an apartment complex on Fruit Valley Road regarding a disturbance. This disturbance was caused by an ex-husband of a resident. Based upon information received, there was probable cause to arrest Ryan J. Young. Mr. Young was believed to be residing at 2200 Simpson Road. Officers contained the residence and attempted to call in to the residence to get Mr. Young to come outside. Mr. Young refused to acknowledge the officers presence. Due to the circumstances, members of the Clark County Regional SWAT team as well as negotiators responded to the scene. after a stand off of approximately 3 hours, Mr. Young surrendered to police without incident and was booked for Felony Harassment/Domestic Violence. There is no further information to provide at this time.
