ODOT/PDX, Mt. Hood: ODOT opened a new travel lane on U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) eastbound between SW 185th Avenue and Cornell Road at 4:15 a.m. this morning. In the spring of 2010, a contractor started a project in this area to widen U.S. 26 from two to three lanes. The additional westbound lane between Cornell Road and SW 185th is scheduled to open sometime in December.
