The Beaverton Civic Theatre's Holiday production, "Happy Hollandaise" opens Friday, Nov. 25. This light British comedy focuses on the hectic hustle and bustle of preparing for the holidays. It includes a mix of rapidly unraveling dinner plans, a robbery and mistaken identity that makes for a delightful, family friendly show.
"The Beaverton Civic Theatre has a dedicated cast and crew that continually deliver delightful productions," said Mayor Denny Doyle. "Please join me in starting the holiday season with a laugh and a smile on opening night."
Presented by the Beaverton Arts Commission, "Happy Hollandaise" will run weekends beginning Nov. 25 through Dec. 11 in the Beaverton City Library Auditorium (12375 SW 5th Street). Performances are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. A question and answer session with the cast and director, Doreen Lundberg will follow the Sunday, Dec. 4 performance.

In conjunction with Beaverton's Tree Lighting and Holiday Open House on Friday, Dec. 2, tickets will be $5 with a donation of a new, unwrapped toy or gift card to benefit Beaverton's low-income youth and foster children in Washington County.
Prior to the Saturday, Dec. 3 performance, the Beaverton Civic Theater will host a dessert and coffee social and silent auction at 7 p.m. in the Beaverton City Library. Tickets for this event will be $5.
