TRUCK DRIVER ARRESTED AFTER 7-YEAR OLD FELONY WARRANT DISCOVERED DURING TRAFFIC STOP

A commercial truck driver wanted on a seven-year old felony warrant was arrested Thursday afternoon by Oregon State Police (OSP) during a traffic stop on Interstate 5 in the Albany area. In addition to the warrant, the driver was also arrested for DUII and Reckless Driving.
On July 7, 2011 at approximately 4:16 p.m. OSP Trooper Ron Clement saw a 2005 International truck pulling a semi-trailer traveling southbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 239 failing to maintain a lane of travel at 67 mph in a 55 mph speed zone. Clement attempted to stop the truck but it continued for a couple miles before stopping at milepost 236.
Trooper Phil Van Leuven responded to assist and discovered the truck's driver, DANIEL M. CAMDEN, age 48, from Roy, Washington was wanted on a felony 1994 Parole Violation warrant out of Linn County. Subsequent investigation led also to charges of DUII and Reckless Driving. He was also cited for Refusing a Breath Test.
CAMDEN was lodged in the Linn County Jail. A photograph was not available for this release.
