A 19-year old Bend girl was seriously injured late Saturday morning when she lost control of her car and collided with a motorhome on Highway 22E near Mill City. Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation.

According to OSP Senior Trooper Jay Davis, on June 11, 2011 at approximately 11:10 a.m. a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle driven by REILLY TAYLOR NOBLE, age 19, from Bend, was eastbound on Highway 22E near milepost 34 when it traveled onto the shoulder. NOBLE over-corrected and lost control, spun around and across into the westbound lane where it was struck in the rear by a westbound 1986 Jamboree motorhome driven by TERRY R. McFARLANE, age 73, from LaPine.

NOBLE was extricated from her car by responding Mill City Fire Department personnel and transported to Stayton Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

McFARLANE received minor injuries but refused transport to a hospital.
