SPRING BACKYARD BURN SEASON IS OVER - ALL TEN BURN DAYS USED

GRESHAM, Ore. - The end of May marks the close of the spring backyard burn season for Gresham, Fairview, and Wood Village. The next backyard burn season will be in fall 2011. When the authorized fall burn season is announced the burn days will fall on each succeeding Wednesday and Saturday until the 10 burn days have been successfully completed.
Residents living within the city limits of Gresham; Fairview; and Wood Village east of the Department of Environmental Quality Burn Ban Boundary located approximately along 182nd Ave should watch for an announcement from Gresham Fire and Emergency Services before burning in fall or call the Burn Line at 503-618-3083. This line includes information for Gresham; Fairview; Troutdale; Wood Village; and the Multnomah County area within Gresham Fire's jurisdiction.
